Sister and Brother

I'm learning that you never know what you'll end up with when photographing siblings. Do they get along - will they even sit next to each other? Some are easy - others a little more challenging!!! These two, though....how wonderful. It's easy to see how charming they are. But the most fun thing was seeing how much they enjoyed each other! What a fun pair - I know their parents are proud!

A Swinging Good Time!

I'm going to have lots of fun with these pictures! I've known cute C for 2 years now - ever since she and my son were in their first preschool class together. She and her mother have always brightened my day with their cute smiles and personalities - and today was no different!

Brotherly Love

I only have time to post one picture - my husband and I actually have a date tonight! But I just had a very fun shoot with two hilarious boys! This shot really speaks for itself - more to come! :)

Little Girls

I was very excited to photograph this family. They are friends of ours through church and preschool and, as you can see, have 2 of the prettiest little girls!

They were troopers on a cool, windy day and we captured many great shots in a short amount of time! (No pun intended...) :)

Not your typical 2-year old!

I had so much fun with this family. Mom found out about me through mutual friends...and we quickly discovered many small world stories, including that our husbands work for the same company!

Their precious son, W, was not your typical 2-year old boy (aside from the tiny bruise under his eye....the first of many, I'm sure!) What a joy he was - no terrible 2s from this one!

Starting Out....

Wow - how fun this has been!! What started out as a few friends asking me to take their family pictures has turned in to a full-time "job." It's difficult to use that term, though. I never thought my hobby could bring so much joy to others - and to me!

I'll use this blog to post snip-its of the sessions I do. Hopefully this will offer you a glimpse of my work, as well as some of the families with whom I'm privileged to work. (I can also stop clogging up your inboxes with big .jpg attachments!)

Thank you for supporting my new venture. It's been more fun than I ever expected!
